Associate (MBA and/or Industry Experience)

Duties & Responsibilities

Associates play an integral role on the team. Given the flat organizational structure of our firm, associates will interact with senior management and clients on a daily basis. You will perfect your knowledge in exotic option pricing, real-options, power trading, and financial engineering, as well as product development, regulatory, market entry, re-positioning and globalization strategies. You will work with senior management on a variety of projects simultaneously and will be rapidly challenged in client projects. You will be expected to continuously develop your competencies and increase your responsibilities in the firm. We do not have artificial boundaries and will provide a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment for you to grow.

Qualifications

Candidates will have completed an MBA or similar program with concentration in a Finance, Consulting, and/or Strategy. Ideal candidates will have a broad skill set that can be applied to both quantitative and strategic problems. Energy industry experience is helpful. Candidates must demonstrate the interest and ability to quickly build new competencies as we do not encourage specialization. They will have strong analytical capabilities in addition to energy, maturity, flexibility and creativity. Successful candidates will be client-driven and will show great enthusiasm for solving problems. Considering our strong involvement in European markets, working knowledge of German, French, Spanish, or Italian will be considered an advantage.
